Description

- Within the European market of Sporting goods, you are looking for business opportunities where logistic solutions create added value.

- As an experienced business partner you analyze the supply chain flows of your prospects and offer them tailor made logistic solutions. You negotiate with various interlocutors from purchase to production, logistics, or sales and marketing whom you convince of the added value of your solutions and services.

- Together with the commercial Director of the Business Unit, to whom you report, you determine your sales targets and the necessary sales actions to reach the goals.

- You organize sales actions and events to create new customer contacts that are finally leading to long term agreements in line with the business strategy.

- You have a strong feeling for new market trends and are capable in translating them into realistic new target markets. You are feeding the organization with fresh ideas and you create new business opportunities by always thinking two steps ahead. You translate this development into intelligent value propositions.

- Your home base office is Belgium where you can share your expertise with project engineers, data analysts and account managers. You also work closely with international Business Development Managers spread over several countries worldwide.

Requirements

- You are a true hunter with a commercial heart and soul who wants to challenge the setup of new logistic businesses.
- A proven network in the sporting goods industry is a must.
- You are experienced and like to develop new markets by actively prospecting new potential customers.
- You hold a bachelor or university degree combined with a strong commercial background in a B2B function (within the logistic sector is an asset).
- Experience and proven track record in successfully finishing international deals is an advantage.
- You can work independently and you’re driven by achieving sales results.
- Networking is your second nature
- Knowledge of Dutch, French, English are a must, knowledge of German is an asset.
